Background and purpose
With the purpose of being able to offer you guidance and support as being a member of a players union (Spillerforeningen, Håndbold Spiller Foreningen or DEF-sport), or as a result of you being covered by a industry agreement (collective agreement or other agreement) between your players union and clubs/sport association and/or federation of delivering 4player services, 4player need to collect, store and process your personal data.
Which personal data does 4player process on your behalf?
4player processes the following categories of personal data, that we have received from you or potentially your players union pursuant to the purpose above:

Storing and updating data
4player stores and processes your data in 4players career-planning- and guidance tool, MyCareerPlan.
You can – at any point – see and update your career data by logging in to MyCareerPlan. Here it is also possible to provide updates to your data of identification.
There is free text boxes in MyCareerPlan that you will be filling out on your own. You should be aware of which information you give in those text boxes. The career plan is your personal tool, that only you and the 4player advisers have access to.
4player does not store health information in MyCareerPlan.
4players advisers keeps a counseling log in MyCareerPlan.
Revoking consent
You can – at any point – revoke your consent. You can do this by writing 4player@spillerforeningen.dk. By revoking your consent all your data will be deleted.
Confidentiality and disclosure of information
4players advisers are subject to duty of confidentiality. Your data will not be passed on to a 3rd party without your consent. In regular guidance context it is considered consent when verbally agreeing that 4player contacts external partners (for example within mental health, education or job) or your club with the purpose of helping you.
Your health information is only handled by the 4player adviser(s) necessary to help you.
Timeframe and deleting personal data
Your personal data is stored for as long as it is relevant, for 4player being able to help you. That is, while you’re an active athlete or member of a players union or till 10 years after ending these two criteria.
Right of insight
At any time you can request insight to – and a copy of – the information 4player have about you and whether/how these have been passed on.
Security and responsibility
The safety of your data is of the highest priority, and we take all necessary security considerations to protect your data from being lost, abused and all kinds of unauthorized access, changes and sharing of information. That being said, no system is 100% secure and 4player cannot be held responsible for unauthorized or unintentional access, that is outside of our reasonable control.

4player can from time to time contact you with regards to updates to our system, services and conditions or to ensure that the data we have from you are up to date.
